Luggage Sleeve
Traveling is the best. It can also be the most stressful. Whether you’re flying solo or traveling with others, the mental checklist goes a little something like this: did I pack everything? Do I have my ID? Are my toiletries 3.4 ounces? OMG how is that line so long? We can’t do much about TSA regulations, but we can make traveling a little bit easier for everyone (and a lot less painful for shoulders) with Dagne Dover’s Luggage Sleeve collection.
What is the Luggage Sleeve Collection?
Raise your hand if you don’t want to have back problems later in life. Raise your other hand if you love to travel. For those of you with both hands raised, we have something for you. Dagne Dover’s Luggage Sleeve collection is made up of travel bags with luggage sleeves (AKA trolley sleeves) built in. This means that instead of breaking your back, you can slide your suitcase handle through the luggage sleeve and navigate through the airport with ease. (You can put your hands down now.)
What Bags Have Luggage Sleeves?
Backpacks were made for backs, but backs sometimes need breaks. The Dakota is a neoprene backpack with a trolley sleeve, so you can carry it on your back or secure it to your suitcase. And although the Dakota comes in three sizes, only the Medium and Large feature a luggage sleeve. No matter how you carry it, you can rest assured knowing the Dakota will keep all of your things safe and protected.
Running through the airport with a full duffle bag draped across your body is basically a CrossFit workout. If that’s your thing, cool. For the rest of us, there’s the Landon Carryall. This travel bag with luggage sleeve comes in five sizes, but only the Medium, Large, and Extra Large feature the luggage sleeve. Perfect for a long weekend getaway, this carryall bag has enough space for all of your toiletries and tech alike.
The Weston men’s laptop bag is a laptop bag for minimalists (and also, not just men). Designed to fit most laptops, Weston keeps your computer safe and snug, while giving you a few different ways to wear it. You can throw Weston over your shoulder, add the adjustable strap to make it a crossbody, or take advantage of the luggage sleeve and let your suitcase carry the weight.
Meet Ryan, Weston’s very similar cousin. This women’s laptop tote comes in two sizes and both have an extra exterior pocket for smaller tech (mouse, USB drives, external charger, etc) or non-tech (hand sani, lip balm, etc) that you may need to keep handy. Wear it a few different ways or let your suitcase do the work and use the luggage sleeve. Not a woman? Not a problem. Ryan looks good with all genders.
Is a Luggage Sleeve Really Necessary?
Well, no, a luggage sleeve is not necessary to breathe or to live or even travel. But it sure does improve the quality of life when traveling and take the strain out of carrying a heavy bag. Luggage sleeves stabilize your bag on your suitcase (yay physics!). Without one, you either have to carry your bag (and maybe look forward to back issues down the road) or try to balance it on the top of your suitcase and hope it doesn’t fall (which most of the time it does…because physics). Think ahead and do your traveling self a favor and get the luggage sleeve. You’ll thank yourself (and perhaps us) later.
