Top Q's

How do I start a return or exchange?

We accept returns on unused products within 30 days of shipment for orders shipped within the US. Due to the holiday season, orders placed from November 20, 2022, until December 24, 2022 are eligible for return within 90 days of the delivery date. Orders placed outside of this period are only eligible for our 30-day return policy. However, if something went wrong upon arrival or initial use, please let us know at support@dagnedover.com.

All US returns are subject to a $10 handling fee. If you are returning items from multiple orders, they must be shipped separately. We do not provide shipping labels for international orders. We do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale items.

All you need is your order number and either the shipping zip code, phone number, or email address used at the time of purchase. Where are your products made?

Our products are made by craftsmen in China and the Philippines, at factories that we’ve spent considerable time getting to know and love. Quality is of utmost importance to us, which is why we have chosen to work with factories and suppliers that work with many other designer brands.

Where can I see Dagne Dover products in person?

You can check out our products in person at our NYC store, located at 273 Lafayette St. A selection of our bags are also available at certain retailers, but we recommend giving them a call first to make sure they have the bag you’re looking for.

Are any Dagne Dover bags vegan?

Yes! Our entire neoprene, Made for Now, and Eco-Friendlier collections are vegan!

Do you offer monogramming?

At this time, we don’t offer any monogramming or customization for our bags.

Can I get on the waitlist for a sold out product?

If the sold out product you’re interested in will be restocked, you can simply click the “Keep Me Posted” button on the product page and enter your email address. If the “Notify Me” option isn’t available, then the product will not be restocked.

Do you have a referral program? How does it work?

We do! You can refer your friends to Dagne here! If they're a new customer, they'll get $20 off their first order of $100+, and you'll receive 200 points for each successful referral. You are able to log in to your Dagne Dover account to redeem your points on a future purchase.

Do you offer a discount for new customers?

We do! You can sign up for our , and you’ll receive a welcome email with your discount code, valid for your first purchase. Enter that code during checkout, and you’re good to go!

Orders
Can I edit or cancel my order?

While we wish we could, we're unable to edit orders once they are placed. Since we want you to love your Dagne, we do offer free exchanges, just in case!

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, you should receive a confirmation email and order number as soon as you place an order. If you do not receive an order confirmation, please contact support@dagnedover.com with any questions.

Can I use more than one discount code?

Unfortunately, only one discount code can be applied per order.

Do you offer gift receipts?

We don’t offer gift receipts, but there is no pricing information included with your package.

What does final sale mean?

When an item is marked final sale, it cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. The sale price is as marked on the site, and no additional discounts can be applied.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can log into your account to view the status of all orders placed. If you don’t have an account, you can easily .

I was charged for my order but didn’t receive a confirmation. What should I do?

Not to worry! You can send an email to support@dagnedover.com, and we can look into it for you!

Can I pay with more than one card at checkout?

Unfortunately, we are only able to process one payment method per order (excluding Dagne Dover gift cards).

Can I use a pre-paid gift card at checkout?

You can, but our system is only able to process one payment method per order. If your gift card value is more than the cost of your order, you should be fine! If the value on your gift card is less than the order total, we recommend purchasing a Dagne Dover gift card to use at checkout, which can be used in addition to a credit or debit card.

Why was my credit card declined?

There are many reasons why a card can be declined, including incorrect billing information. Try reaching out to your bank or card company, as they can often provide more information.

My card was declined, but there is a charge on my statement. What should I do?

When a transaction is attempted, the card company often puts a hold on your account for that amount. This hold is temporary and should be cleared in a few days. Rest assured that we haven’t captured any funds! If the hold doesn’t clear, you should reach out to your bank or card company for help.

Shipping
Why does my tracking number still say "label created"?

Because of the significant increase in online shopping this year, carriers are handling more packages than ever. Unfortunately, this has resulted in delays in packages being scanned into their system. While this typically results in a delay of 3-4 days, we've also seen it take up to 10 days to see any movement. We know the delays can be frustrating, but rest assured that your package has been shipped and is at one of their facilities, and they will process and deliver it as soon as they can.

When will I receive my tracking number?

Since we are in the holiday season, orders are taking an additional 5-7 business days to be processed. Rest assured your order is being taken care of and you will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as it's on the way!

Does Dagne Dover ship internationally?

We do! Note that shipments may experience delays due to the holiday season, and the length of the delay is dependent on each country's local delivery abilities. Please note that we don't offer free returns for international orders.

Do you ship orders to the UK & EU? If so, how will orders be shipped?

Yes, we ship to the UK & EU. To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be the Seller for all orders to the UK for orders under €135 and orders to the EU for orders €150 and Under.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

My package was marked undeliverable. What happens now?

If your package wasn’t able to be delivered, it will automatically be returned to us. Email us at support@dagnedover.com to figure out your options for re-delivery!

We accept returns (in accordance with our return policy above) on any items not marked “Final Sale”.

How do I return something I received as a gift?

Gifts can be returned or exchanged within the appropriate return window. Orders purchased during our Black Friday and holiday season are eligible for return within 90 days of the delivery date. Orders placed outside of this period are only eligible for our 30-day return policy. To initiate a request, you can click here to fill out the form. You’ll be asked for some information about the original order so that your return for store credit or exchange can be processed.

How long will it take to receive my refund? And where will my refund go?

A refund will be issued once we’ve received your return. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Your refund will be issued to the original form of payment unless otherwise noted. Gift cards and reward points are refunded first if more than one method of payment was used. Credit card refunds may take up to 3 business days to be completed and appear on your bank statement.

All returned products must be unused, undamaged, with all accessories included, and, whenever possible, packaged in the original boxes in order to ensure a full credit. Please understand that we reserve the right to refuse a refund request if a return does not comply with this policy.

Gift cards cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. Coupons, promo codes and other discounts may not be used to purchase gift cards. In the event that a purchase made with a gift card is returned, the original gift card will be credited.

A deeper dive into material care


Neoprene
Neoprene is mostly chill but still deserves some love and attention. Neoprene can be hand washed in cold water with gentle soap. Reshape when wet. Lay flat to dry.

Alcohol, acetone, and oil are all really bad for neoprene, so avoid at all costs. Don’t machine wash because the hardware might chip. Hardware should also be handled with care. Creasing and pilling may occur but is easily remedied. Just steam in downward strokes, and use a fabric shaver to remove pilling.

Be cautious when wearing denim and other dark fabrics, as they can transfer onto the lighter colored bags.

Don’t overexpose to light, heat, or water, and not sure why you would, but don’t rub the material excessively.


Leather
Leather needs a lot of love.

It’s a natural material that softens over time, and its color can sometimes transfer with wear. So be careful with your light colored clothing and upholstery. Also, the reverse can happen. Be cautious when wearing denim and other dark fabrics, as they can transfer onto lighter colored bags.

Our reco is to pre-treat your leather products to prevent damage. Leather cleaner can be used as needed, but test it on an inconspicuous spot first. Alcohol, acetone, and oil might as well be poison for leather, so avoid at all costs.


Coated Canvas
Coated canvas is a synthetic material and can withstand a lot, but it’s still good to follow this care guide.

Don’t overexpose your bag to light, heat, or water. That doesn’t mean don’t take it outside. It means use your best judgement.

You need two things to clean this bag: a damp cloth + mild soap. We recommend a leather cleaner for the handles.

Be cautious when wearing denim and other dark fabrics, as they can transfer onto the lighter colored bags. And consider alcohol, acetone, and oil your bag’s enemies.


100% Organic Cotton
100% organic cotton is pretty good stuff. It’s also made without some pretty bad stuff – GMOs, fertilizers, pesticides, contaminated water. And because cotton is a natural material, you might see slight color variations.

Lighter colors don’t camouflage stains as well as darker colors, so use a touch more care with them, and be careful when wearing denim or other dark fabrics, as they can transfer onto lighter colored bags.

We recommend hand washing it with cold water and gentle soap. Reshape when wet, keep it standing up to dry.

Are Dagne Dover bags water-resistant?

Our coated canvas, nylon, and neoprene products are water-resistant (not 100% waterproof) and super easy to clean. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to rain or water with any of our products.

Do you offer repairs?

We don’t offer repairs, but if you’re having an issue with your product, please send an email with your order number and photos of the issue to support@dagnedover.com, and we’ll see what we can do to help!

Where is your store located?

We’re located at 273 Lafayette St in Soho, NYC.

What are your hours?

We’re open Monday-Saturday, 11am-7pm, and Sunday, 12-6pm.

How are you handling current health and safety concerns?

The health and safety of our employees and customers are a top priority for us. Here are some of the things we’re doing to ensure a good, safe shopping experience for everyone:

  • Masks required for all employees and customers
  • Payment via card whenever possible
  • 6+ feet of distance between employees at all times and customers when possible (using floor markers as a guide)
  • Limiting the number of customers in the store at a time to allow for proper distancing
  • Hand sanitizer available at the entrance and throughout the store
  • Wiping down high-touch areas frequently throughout the day
  • Nightly cleaning and sanitizing of the store
  • Daily health screenings for employees, including temperature checks
  • Frequent breaks for employee handwashing, with gloves available if preferred
